Karmel Organization for People with Disabilities Empowerment (KOPDE) is a non-governmental organization formed by non-disabled individuals interested in the field of disability, registered under Tanzania Non-Governmental Organization Act No.24 0f 2002 as amended in 2005 in order to promote and protect the rights, well -being and dignity of persons with disability.

VISION
To attain a community where people with disabilities, their relatives, and guardians attain self-employment and well achieved their full potential.
MISSION
Committed to help communities in difficult environment especially people living with disability to obtain resources that will smooth their education and make them independent on drawing a road map for their social and economic developmentthrough capacity building, guidance, interpreting by Laws and policy to ensure a community achieves its intended success and ensure their integral human development.
